Building a community to the military & veteran population by providing non-clinical outreach through active participation in motorsports.

This is a 3-day Race Licensing School.

Prior Hand Control Experience is Needed.

VETMotorsports is collaborating with MSR Houston, which will provide a hand control car for those drivers suffering from catastrophic injuries. MSR Houston is a 17-turn 2.38-mile road course race track located in Angleton, Texas. Participants, who should have experience using hand controls, will earn their provisional road race license after the successful completion of the three-day course. Students have 365 days after completion of the course to obtain their SCCA Novice Permit or Full Competition License.

Who can participate?

Our event registration for this event is open to Gold Star spouses, and/or veterans who have suffered q major traumatic injuries, who use a hand-control car, and who want to explore the opportunity of going road-racing. The general public can register at the link below.

What is it?

Using a closed-course prepared car with hand controls, drivers will participate over 3 days to earn their provisional road race license. Car, instruction, and equipment will be provided.
