Event Details
Please join us at Historic Ellington Field’s Lone Star Flight Museum where Maj Alyson White, Deputy Base Civil Engineer, will discuss opportunities to partner to meet the needs of her base and other Reserve Component bases across the region. We will discuss how large and small businesses can network with the guard to do state and federal projects and to learn about more opportunities that most are familiar with for active duty. The Guard offers a magnitude of project opportunities in the local community.
Speaker:
This month’s speaker will be the Ellington Field 147th Civil Engineer Squadron, led by Maj Alyson White, Deputy Base Civil Engineer. She is currently in the National SAME Leadership Development Program where she is working on her Utilization Project Implementation Capstone (UPIC), “The Reserve Component and SAME: A relationship is born.” This will be the first presentation of this project and we are excited to share our data and how SAME can partner between the Guard and Reserve to ensure a lasting relationship.
Note: Normal price tickets available through March 15, and late registration thereafter. Please RSVP by March 14. IMPORTANT: Please temporarily disable your pop up blocker when registering. Walk-ins are welcome, but will be required to pay non-member prices ($55) except public agency representatives, whose price remains the same ($15).
Location details: Entrance to the luncheon will be through the entrance located near Hutchinson and Morton Avenues. See map below. Admission to the museum exhibits is not included but can be purchased separately at the museum ticket office.
